Did you guys know that apparently the Bambu RFID filament system has been broken and now you can make your own RFIDs?

Wait so y'all been using printers that essentially take these in noddle form?

not really. unlike ink printers the bambu RFIDs only are used for pretty much settings storage and calculating remaining filament. its not actually locking the printer to their own filament

Bambu DRM should be illegal. We had quite some cases already with 123inkt vs HP already. Now it's resellers vs consumables manufacturers all over again?

Its not DRM? you dont HAVE to use their filament. you can use any spool of filament you want. the RFID is only so the printer sets profiles automatically and so it knows WHAT is in the AMS and guess how much is left.

@BambulabGlobal instead of being annoying about this you all should standardize it!
