That fuel part is what so many Nigerians just don’t know….. Using your AC helps your car to consume less fuel.

There are other variables to consider for this to be accurate.

Car only consume less fuel with ur AC on while on highway because there’s no aerodynamic effect on ur car, whining down ur glass while on highway consume more fuel because of aerodynamics hence dragging down ur car, also using AC while driving slow or in traffic consume more fuel

She is wrong on the AC own sha. My car uses full tank for 2 weeks without AC. Say 10 days with AC on. Have experimented this more than 10 times.

Most car manufacturers design their cars with a guarantee of 7 - 10 years with a 100k to 150k mileage. However, most cars in naija are used cars that have already surpassed the manufacturer’s recommended mileage and lifespan in their original countries before importation. And at that age, it’s normal to refill the gas, change some parts. And remember, not all cars are made to withstand our roads and climate.

I wonder how a content creator who can’t produce a car but knows more about cars more than the car producers AC consumes more fuel and everyone who drive can testify, AC add more load to your engine I have also observed that some cars slow down when ever you on the ac

Lol AC definitely consumes fuel. It reduces fuel efficiency by 5-10%. Though I agree that the drag from an open window, especially on high speed does consume more fuel than the ac.

This is what you get when people go online and do quick read and then on camera to talk nonsense with no practical knowledge. Yes, the car AC refrigerant is designed to last the car life time in the climates it’s designed for, but not all cars are driven in r we Europe or America, evidential fact states that cars driven in climates like Africa experience a different reality, a brand new car in Nigeria will needed a refill of refrigerant before a 10yrs old car in the US “may” need one, car driven in hot climate don’t get the luxury of being able to recycle the air. it’s even stated on some manufacturers Manuel.
