I tried it it taste just like it

KFC suffers from the same thing Burger King suffers from, huge variations in quality from store to store.

The handwritten recipe and the meme recipe in this video do not match.

Did you know Colonel Sanders modified a home pressure cooker in 1939 to create the first pressure fryer, allowing rapid cooking while maintaining flavor and texture. This process uses oil under pressure, distinct from standard deep frying and is central to KFC's original recipe

I like how those recipes don’t match

Fake. Try it. It’s nothing like it. This was some interim recipe.

the recipe is in the public domain and has been for decades... research... jeez

Find me Popeyes recipe now.

KFC isn’t even all that good. Who cares?

Kind of kills the mystique that ran with the company for so long.

I make a pretty decent KFC crispy copycat fried chicken. Pretty easy too.

people believe anything. lol

Been on the internet for years 🤡

KFC isn’t even good

The “11 spices” is a myth. The actual recipe is salt & pepper and the “secret ingredient” is a pressure cooker.

He didn't do it accidentally.

Nope, but don't really care either as i've never found it particularly tasty. Pollo Campero is my favorite by far, perhaps its a childhood bias as it was the first i had back when i was kid. If that ever leaks, i'll be all over that recipe.

KFC is terrible

They had a tv show about recreating fast foods. The secret ingredient is “tellicherry pepper”. The blooming onion is a special hybrid onion only for outback. Forgot the name of the show… I think they did dippy dots too- made with liquid nitrogen.

Yep. I've had it for years, and it's legit awesome to be honest, I still use it. I'd say the newer recipe cranks the salt however.

Like how it uses garlic salt and also regular salt

My dad always said that ten of the eleven herbs and spices are pepper.
