So when I say I am going for a beer and my wife says you had 5 i can say yes 5 beer..... its still beers.

In Slovene, one beer is eno pivo, three beers - tri piva (same noun ending for more beers), but two beers - dve pivi. In other words, Slovene has a special noun ending for two beers. It's a strange language.

Exactly the same for coffees, Cokes, sodas, waters, whatever. "Beers" just means multiple servings of beer, regardless of the kind.
