NHIF is poor on feedback, telephones ever busy and quite frustrating. In a world that customer satisfaction is at the heart of conduct of business, it is the high time the management of NHIF looks into this matter with the seriousness it deserves.

This is my brother Mheshimiwa Anthony Kibagendi this morning on Citizen TV Kenya trying to tell the world what is wrong with Kenya and especially SHA. Sam Gituku was clearly struggling to catch the windy trail; I share in his pain. For the records: 1. EDUAFYA covered only High School students. Today, SHA covers ALL CHILDREN from kindergarten upwards with free Primarily Healthcare Coverage with Referrals and admissions being covered by parent's cover. Your child is your dependant and you simply need to register them. 2. LINDA MAMA is now Linda Jamii. While Linda Mama only covered deliveries(mother), Linda Jamii covers both child and mother including child after birth complications. The benefits package has also been reviewed upwards. 3. CLAIM SETTLEMENT. SHA pays all approved service claims by facilities every 14th Day of every month, nothing like this has ever happened before. Mheshimiwa Kibagendi is telling the country that NHIF was sooo good that it left Ksh 30 BILLION in pending and unpaid claims! FYI, Mheshimiwa sits in the National Assembly HEALTH Committee. When H.E President William Samoei Ruto, PhD says those opposition government programs are all hubris without a plan, he means it.
