H. E. John Dramani Mahama does not know it all. Even if he did, he cannot do it all by himself. It’ll take the contribution of each and everyone of us to help build the Ghana that we want. So let’s support him in whatever way we can. Our country is at a crossroad now and so I don’t care if you’re NDC or you’re NPP. What we must focus on now as citizens of this country is the development of the country. If you’re indeed a Ghanaian who wishes well for Ghana, this is the time. Sad to say that there is no expenditure being made by the State Government of #Odisha for the people of this state and for their development. Time and again this has been brought to the attention of #Odisha Government by Biju Janata Dal that there must be some expenditure for the development of the people of the state, but they seem to be totally neglectful about this. Everyone is suffering. It's not exclusive to any people, it is everyone that is suffering. It's like they're playing on empty vessels, and we all know that empty vessels make a good sound, and that's what they're satisfied by. #BJDWithOdisha

After breaking down newly-constructed residential buildings of judges, the Passport Office, private properties and claming to have sunk over $58 million into a so called National Cathedral, demonstrators had unfettered access to the construction site for the very first time. The expenditure of a $58 million National Cathedral is comparable to an abandoned galamsey site. Do we vote to get a larger share of government resources, or do we vote because we want better governance and services, since we all pay taxes? The belief that we vote just to secure a bigger piece of the pie is why we turn bitter when development projects go to areas that didn’t vote for the government. Above all, when you’re used to privileges like coffee waivers, tea waivers, etc., equality starts to feel like oppression.
