Did you know that when you write by hand, you write more thoughtfully, and you remember more?

Now they need to bring cursive back to the schools.

I already knew this because that was how I studied. Condensed my extensive notes into smaller written texts. Repeat. Even today, when I physically write anything down? I’m far more likely to remember it. While if I do not write it down, I have to be reminded by something or someone. Also, when I had an idea in the middle of the night? I kept a pad and pencil by my bed because if I wrote the thought down; it allowed me to sleep!💤 Otherwise, I lay awake afraid I would forget the thought 🤣😂💤

Did you just Thanos Snap all the papers off my desk?

When I was a kid I learned best through multiple inputs; seeing, hearing, verbalizing and writing. I have eidetic memory and believe how I learned impacted this. People don't learn in just one way.

Well … since the new iPad and the Apple pen, I would say that this brand has no future.

Absolutely! “What the hand does, the mind remembers” Maria Montessori

Writing inserts info into your memory. Thats why teachers had you write everything.

This is a fundamental practice w/ instruction for dyslexic & other LD students. It is why I give my all students photocopied material. Making notes on the text, in margins & answering questions by hand reinforces understanding and learning better than using online materials.

Only if you're not ADD. The gal who tested me said, after I attempted to respond to a question requiring handwriting, "I've never seen anyone so happy to stop writing."

I could watch this man talk to me about anything for hours
