What you say is true, the way you present it makes it sound like he was literally taking the cars from the tower collapse scene. That is not true, after the cars were towed away and put into a lot he forged titles saying they were crushed and then gave them to his family.

William Bennette was a 9/11 Secret Service hero who won a Medal of Valor at 7 WTC. However, in April 2004, he was arrested for saving 5 government-owned fleet cars from Ground Zero debris slated for the scrapyard and giving them to family. A judge later gave him probation.

This grainy footage filmed on an old pocket device is widely considered to be the only footage filmed in the south tower, showing what it actually looked like for evacuees. You can see he pauses and films towards Liberty street, which I would say is the most haunting street out of any of the perimeters. He then goes through the south tower lobby and towards the escalators leading down towards the underground mall. Very real and some would say rare footage of 9/11.

2 observations from this video from Evan Fairbanks raw footage 9/11. First, did you know that there was a large concourse underneath the WTC complex. Those who worked in the towers regularly walked these underground routes to get to work in towers, catch their PATH trains, shop, and grab lunch. Workers in the towers used these routes to evacuate to streets several blocks away from the wtc complex, however these routes would be destroyed by the collapse of the wtc2 tower, forcing those to look for other exit options. Secondly, notice at the beginning of the footage, those are FBI agents questioning Evan and the footage he collected. They actually take him into their offices to have a “discussion”, which we don’t know what took place exactly since there was never any audio. This was all while the 9/11 tragedy was unfolding above. Very interesting.

Jack Taliercio’s footage from 9/11 is remarkable and haunting. When everyone seems to be evacuating away from the towers, he heads in closer. Most of the evacuation is taking place on Church and Fulton street. One block down, Dey St, empty. Uninterrupted views of the WTC plaza. He crosses Church street and into the plaza, hugging the corner of WTC4 to shield himself from the falling debris on the east side of the south tower. The most chilling part of the video is that the plaza music, which was a cover of Billy Joel’s “She’s always a woman” can still be heard playing in the background. He then gets a view glimpses of the scenes unfolding on the south perimeter of the wtc complex - Liberty st, which to me is the most haunting street and site of the world trade center as everything unfolded that day.

The north tower is still standing, while the Marriott hotel is sliced in half. Firefighers can be see climbing the mountain of rubble, but immediately turning around when heavy debris is falling from high above. A firefighter can be heard yelling “come on guys, let’s go!” to a few young guys escaping the Marriott hotel, to which they respond, “hey, I got a man injured back there!” Almost 7 stories of south tower steel facade can be seen spiked vertically into the ground. Incredibly intense and detailed video footage

After surviving the collapse of wtc2, Battalion Chief Joseph Pfiefer, cameraman Jules Naudet (who happened to be filming a documentary on nyfd and captured some of the only footage of the north tower being hit), and the remaining crews set up command on West and Vessey, which was extremely close to the still standing north tower. Moments later, as the last few men and women escaped onto vessey street, the north tower gave way.

Jules Naudet’s extended raw 9/11 footage is fascinating. You can see the details of 1 persons perspective. Battalion Chief Joseph Pfeifer appears to be one of the first crews to arrive. He tells Jules, “you stay with me”. The lobby windows of wtc1 were already blown out, and immediately upon entering there was a victim who was getting into the elevator when jet fuel ran down the shaft all the way to the lobby. They turn to the left, and set up command post in the north west corner of tower 1, a small decision that most likely saved their lives and allowed them to escape with their lives when wtc2 collapsed.

Footage filmed almost immediately after the collapse of the north tower, before much of the first responder efforts even arrived. This is mostly captured along church street, I’d say on the south corner as most of the wind and dust cloud blew south during 9/11. You can still see surrounding buildings, some of which were apart of the main wtc complex, burning and would eventually collapse.

Here is some rare audio of the first plane striking the north tower But the story behind it is even harder to believe Stephen McArdle was a NY tax consultant who was secretly cooperating with the FBI in a corruption investigation. During his meeting with a city tax assessor that the FBI was investing inside of the Marriott hotel, the hidden wire he was wearing accidentally captured the sounds of Flight 11 hitting the north tower above, followed by the raining debris which let to panic inside of the restaurant and out on the street.

This 9/11 footage was first posted on YouTube over 18 years ago, but has since only had 2,000 views. Which is hard to believe considering the close footage that Christian Martin captured of the South tower collapse only a couple blocks away (in last post) Still covered in debris and ash, Christian goes in the nbc studio a couple hours later to tell his story. Truly incredible.

Jack is accompanied by a man through much of his footage, you can hear him and also see him briefly in a reflection. “This is worse than the Hindenburg (disaster) today. The more photos you get, the more they’ll live forever”. I think he was purposely not identified. Some said he was insensitive in some things he said throughout the footage (not included here). Did he survive? Why was he there and what was his story? We will never know .. 2) Jack gets as close as you could possibly be. He enters the plaza, and hugs wtc4 as he pans up the south tower. There was really only a brief time that you could have captured this type of footage and escape with your life. There is currently no other video out there with this perspective. 3) The plaza music. Big development in the 9/11 archives Over 11 hours of raw, extended high definition footage from the Naudet brothers was just released yesterday. It not only provides never before seen footage, but much clearer film that was previously broken and incomplete. This includes the firefighters all returning back to the station following the 9/11 attacks, what that first night looked like, raw conversations amongst the men, and working “the pile” as seen here. It also provides what I believe is a clear shot of Bill Biggart in his final moments before tower 2 came down. If you’re interested in raw, extended footage that shows the small details of what it was like to be there, I would recommend it.

Attorney: You can see there's a person who is face down on the ground. He seems to be handcuffed. People are on his back, and an ICE agent is spraying him in the face with some kind of yellow chemical.
