Just so you know, if you see this guy in a video, the odds are high that you're about to be told something iffy. Dr. Roy Casagranda is all over social media but his research abilities leave a little to be desired. In short: street sewers were mostly for rain & other liquids, generally not serious icky waste. They generally didn't throw their human waste out of the windows. They made sure to keep their wells and water sources as free from pollution as they could. Cholera wasn't a huge problem in Europe till the 19th century. They drank lots of water, drank beer because it's more nutritious, tastier & more fun. My mother had a tremendous love of people, loved to entertain. All of my friends loved my mom and she loved them. Anyone who ever met mom tells me “she was the sweetest.” Her capacity to love was one of her greatest gifts, having her as our mom is ours. I still grieve for my mother every day, but I was fortunate to have my mom in my life for as long as I did, because nothing was left unsaid. She knew I loved her and I knew she loved me. I have said this before but it bears repeating; if you are fortunate enough to still have your mother, tell her you love her, if you can’t see her, call her. Try not to let petty grievances keep you apart because one day she will be gone and all you will have left are memories. Happy Mother’s Day to my momma and to all of the moms out there. 💐

I have to share this life changing story….. Not only is Auntie Patti Labelle an icon and legend and has one of the warmest hearts and spirits…. She did a tour years back around the time SHAME dropped and fans in the audience started posting clips of Patti LaBelle singing Shame in the middle of our concert…. I literally couldn’t believe it….. Nooooo way!!! I was told she loved loved loved SHAME played it everyday!!!! So when I finally got her to thank her for ALL that she is to me and us ALL…. I had to sing it for queen one time live in her kitchen in Philly!

Lue Elizondo speaks publicly about Amy Eskridge for the first time “Regarding Amy Eskridge. I had the privilege of meeting her back in Huntsville, Alabama back in 2019. Her and her father had been working on a project. Apparently that involved anti-gravitics. She did provide me and a couple of my colleagues a briefing on it, I am not an anti-gravitics expert. I really don't know what to say about it, whether it was legitimate or not. She did complain that she was on a quote target list. I was 16-18 when they broke up ( Peter then Ace leaving). At this time 32. We were told no bueno- not ever happening again. But… it did. For the old guard the world was back on it’s axis. This was not 4 grunge slobs who needed a shower as was all the rage then. This was the biggest band ever? Round two. Decked out in the most popular era costumes/ outfits. They indeed DID SHOW “ How the big boys do it”. This was first FULL SHOW ( not counting Weenie Roast) in full regaila in almost two decades. I saw them 2 shows later. July 2. Glorious! Not before or after have I EVER broke down at a concert the way I did for this. IT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL OF TIMES…. #Kiss : 1996 #Reunion

What Paris Hilton went through is truly horrific and heartbreaking, especially hearing her describe it in this clip. Paris shares that she was hit and strangled by men in the past, but she didn’t register it as that bad because of what she had already endured at boarding school. Her name is Mudanda. Will Burrard-Lucas was the last to meet her! Last photographs of the Elephant Queen F_MU1 was an incredible elephant. For more than 60 years, she lived a peaceful life in a quiet corner of Tsavo in Kenya. When I first saw her I was awestruck, for she had the most amazing tusks I had ever seen. If I hadn’t looked upon her with my own eyes, I might not have believed that such an elephant could exist in our world. If there were a Queen of Elephants, it would surely have been her. These are amongst the last images captured of her. Shortly after they were taken, she died of natural causes. She had survived through periods of terrible poaching and it was a victory that her life was not ended prematurely by a snare, bullet or poisoned arrow. F_MU1 was an elephant that few people outside Tsavo knew about. Photographing her, in partnership with Tsavo Trust and Kenya Wildlife Service, was one of the greatest honours of my career. What follows is the story of how I came to capture these images…
