Nancho wrote history did back in 2019 when in Germany he won the first ever Gr-1 title for any Hungarian training (not including Overdose's unofficial Abbaye win.) But he was German bred. Now this is finally a great success for Hun horse breeding, well done Bábolna Stud!

Their stallions will serve different breeds of mares. In 2019, there were 36 stallions and 190 mares. Esti Feny's sire Pigeon Catcher stands at Dióspuszta not far from the Danube, about 50 mins north west of Budapest. But yes, most of Hungary's racehorses are foaled abroad.
