Thanksgiving is usually November 22-28 every year depending on how the calendar falls. It’s not anything else!

Grok, has the day ever changed for Thanksgiving in the last 20 years? Grok: No, the day for Thanksgiving in the United States has not changed in the last 20 years. Since 1941, Thanksgiving has been consistently observed on the fourth Thursday in November.

I’m on the same time line I guess. Just asked friends about this couple days ago. I always remember 3rd Thursday too. 🤔

Thanksgiving was on the 28th in 2002! I know this because I got married on Saturday the 30th!

Typically it's been on the 3rd full week Thursday of the month right?

Last year my birthday fell on Thanksgiving, Thursday, 11-23, this year my birthday was on Saturday, 11-23. We were trying to figure out how that happened.

Goodness gracious. It's the 4th Thursday...always...one of only a hand-full of things I remember learning in the 1st grade (1970 something ☺️). Since Nov 1st was a Friday this year it's later than usual, but still the 4th Thursday.

Alternate realities? Mandela effect? My sisters and I were not raised together and one 'just knows' that Thanksgiving 'was always' on the 4th Thurs, and the other agrees with me that it 'was always' on the 3rd. Weird, for sure.
