Here's two recent resignations in NYC: Edward Caban, the NYPD Commissioner, resigned on September 12, 2024, following the seizure of his electronics as part of a federal corruption investigation touching several members of Mayor Adams' inner circle. Lisa Zornberg, Mayor Adams' Chief Counsel, resigned over the weekend of September 15-16, 2024, after her advice to fire certain officials involved in federal probes was not followed by Mayor Adams.
