Ending was done really well but felt the court case was rushed & unrealistic with the processes/procedures. Jury would've announced the name of each Defendant, the charge & then the verdict not just said the word Defendant & the verdict. Wasn't clear who'd been found guilty.

Personally I feel you did very well not to drag the Court case on for days. I felt it was concise rather than rushed with some brilliant acting over the two episodes, highlighting the very real & ongoing issues of grooming & trafficking. Credit where it is due 👏

Joshua Richards, take a bow. The court scenes were a bit rushed, and why was it only Paddy that was found guilty and would have got more than a 12 month suspended sentence for 2 years for perverting the course of justice in a murder trial.

Thank you for this storyline, At the age of 18 I was almost trafficked until the police foiled the plan otherwise I don't know where I'd be know I was so angry this storyline is excellent and could save lives. @STOPTHETRAFFIK #Trafficking

@RyanSoapKing25 Who's idea was it to leave out any realism in the court 🙄. Can U not just do doom & gloom cos people want/need some escapism & the light relief ED used to give millions. If we want nasty we have the news 🙄. Get back to the ED where their was fun 🙏👍😁

When I heard one guilty I said to my husband that would be Paddy. He was the only adult who hadn’t been groomed. Brilliant episode.

Unlike some people in the comments, I think I understand the point of the ending. Someone had to get punished for what happened to show people it was wrong, but the writers didn't want to detract from the overall importance of the topic/story by doing something outlandish.

To be honest it was predictable, the way they didn’t state who the defendant was when asking for the verdict ( after the shortest murder trial in history). Bear was brilliant, though.

Great performance from all cast but especially Joshua Richards. Glad storyline has coming to an end. 🥲

Very truefull points made by Bear towards the end of program, ended just as should have been. Excellent acting by Josh Richards throughout this story. Going on every day through out the world somewhere.

Such a boring episode. Glad thats over

Bears freee!!!!

Suspended sentence = got off. These sentences need taking out of our judicial system. His criminal record won't stop him working in that tiny village as everyone knows & supports him. Poorly written.

That was an excellent episode. Joshua Richards’ final scene with Dominic was so moving.

So was Paddy found guilty because he hide Bear away from the police in that house? Didn’t think they made that decision very clear unless I missed that bit

I thought Ruby and Claudette would be in the court #Emmerdale

Why the bloody doom and gloom, they all got off. Paddy having a suspended sentence is nothing compared to prison. I’d be celebrating.

@RyanSoapKing25 Powerful stuff

The trial was rushed. If Paddy was guilty why wasn't Dylan

i could’ve seen that coming tbh

This is so boring 🥱

The whole world saw it coming 🙄

I thought Dylan would’ve been the one going to prison since he’s leaving, or was that fake news I read🤣 I also read Bear was leaving too tbf🤣

It was brilliant… so brilliant!! What great ending!!! Well done you guys!!!

Just brilliant performance again on set emmerdale.... tonight's episode great outcome of court..... case.... 👏👏👏👏😊👍

How

a very good episode!

Bear's words at the end about slavery were incredibly powerful.

So who was found guilty ?

Well done Emmerdale, it was brilliant episode

is it true that paddy leaving the show. I hope not he's good actor.please don't get rid.

It was obviously self- defense and defense of others in the first place. I don't understand why there was a trial. Details.

Blind man could see it coming.

Got to be the quickest verdict for a Murder Trial on Record! #VillageOfTheDamned!
