I want you to pay attention to his reaction. He grabbed her, then remembered it’s a woman and he can’t hit her. She ruined his entire mood. He was so disgusted that he walked off and didn’t finish his set. This happens A LOT to men. They don’t report it. They know the police would laugh at them. Men aren’t believed when it comes to situations like this. This is why it is a blessing when someone got it on camera. Fight back men. Report them! This upset me.

#JAMES is really smart with the way he chooses to answer questions, and I think that might be part of why his Group Therapy segment ended with the UNPROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT: “WALKING ON EGGSHELLS.” It’s an idiom about being really careful with what you say or do because you don’t want to upset someone, make them feel bad, or make the situation worse — basically like having to “walk on eggshells.” You can kind of see that in the way he answers. He often avoids directly pointing at someone if the answer might embarrass them or make them feel bad. Like when he was asked which dorm memory he’d want to erase, he answered about dorm life in general instead of naming one specific moment or person. When he said some of his stuff goes missing because the members use it, he still didn’t name anyone. And when he was asked who gives the best and worst advice, he chose not to name anyone because he didn’t want to compare people like that. But when he does have to name someone, he usually keeps it playful and unserious so it doesn’t come off too harsh. It was kind of the same when he was asked what he was most nervous about before debut. That’s a pretty serious and specific question, but he answered really broadly with, “I’m nervous everywhere.” And when they followed up by asking if he was nervous in the session too, he turned it into a joke about eggs instead: “I’m nervous flipping eggs… When you flip them, your day is ruined when the yolk pops.” To me, it feels like he knows he gets nervous easily, but he doesn’t really want to dig too deeply into those feelings or get too specific, especially in a show that isn’t meant to be that serious.
