Small business owner myself. If you don't apply yourself in everything you touch. You don't deserve any rewards. Currently on route to hit 22 years in business. Not trying to be a millionaire. Still work 30+ hours a week. Detailer by trade. Every client receives the same attention to detail as the next. Same price as well. No matter the job. Started with 1 client, now at 2300+. Hard work does pay off. Be honest and truthful with everyone especially yourself. Anything is possible with doing your best on each job. You just have to apply yourself. It is hard starting out. Stay focused. I became a household name before my 20th year. My best form of advertisement is word of mouth. If I can do it, anyone can. Share your passion. Just don't expect high pay starting out. Sky's the limit on what you can achieve. Include God in your every day activities. And most importantly, if you love what you do, you don't really work. Be prepared and most importantly stay safe.

The difference is, not everyone will become a millionaire and the rest won’t survive with such wages. Wages need to be adjusted and self made ones can still go get it. He’s missing the point (on purpose) and dodging the question, and yes totally different times.
