Guardian columnist Zoe Williams claims the reason we don't have mixed football teams is because “women are too good”. 🙄 Now, I’m no expert on football - but you don’t need to be. You can see it with your own eyes. Watch an elite men’s match and an elite women’s match side by side. The men are, on average, quicker, stronger and more powerful - which changes the pace, intensity and physicality of the game. Saying that doesn’t diminish women’s football. It’s simply acknowledging reality. Men’s and women’s football are different - because men and women are different. This isn’t really about Williams - it’s about the kind of baseless arguments that get bandied around to justify men in women’s sports and spaces. Including by women themselves.

It reads both, scores the "ad scent" from click to page, and finds the exact line where the page breaks the promise that won the click. All inside Claude Code. Who remembers the Umbro Cup? Back in 1995, a year before they hosted Euro 96, England held a four-team tournament featuring themselves, Brazil, Sweden and Japan. On 8th June, Elland Road was the venue as England played Sweden. This was a period when, whatever happened and whoever was in the respective teams, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 just couldn’t beat 🇸🇪. This game was no different. With the match approaching the 90th minute, Sweden were 3–1 up. However, David Platt pulled one back before the pièce de résistance from Darren Anderton. There’s something satisfying about a goal going in off the post; this one went in off two. Great finish.
