I think you lose a sense of grounding if you live some place that means you never see the Milky Way. We get the Milky Way and the Aurora Borealis, and for me personally it really keeps everything in perspective v’s working and living in the city. It really feels like I’m on a minor planet, orbiting an average star, on the periphery of a galaxy. It keeps your dreams big and your ego small.
