Good take & imagination. However, you are going to see less of this set-up/structure because Hansi Flick uses the LB ie Cancelo/Balde as one of the 5 in (3—2—5) settled possession. And it is understandable. Raphinha doesn’t keep maximum width because when you push him to the line, you risk generating a 1v1 situation where he actually sucks. So, the manager uses him as a false winger or even an inside forward. This means that the left back ie Cancelo/Balde has to keep the left width. Therefore, Lamine remains an outlet. He will not be inside so much nor would Cancelo be the RB so much. This would be the case.

I think Barcelona will really go far in the champions league this season , I think Rodri will give make them that defensive cover and defensive maturity, most of the time they got knocked out in the champions league it’s always a defensive error

I have an idea: why not play Martin at LB and Cancelo at RB like you said, then pair Kounde and Cubarsí at CB? That gives Yamal the support he needs offensively and defensively. When Cancelo overlaps, we can shift into a back three of Martin–Cubarsí–Kounde. None of this would even be an issue if Balde wasn’t struggling. We’ve also isolated Yamal for too long because Kounde at RB doesn’t offer enough going forward. If we don’t sign an LCB, I think this fixes the balance because Kounde simply can’t be benched.

Cancelo as RB can only make sense if Barçelona sign Jorge Salinas from Racing. He’s more a good LB with defensive solidity than Balde. We’ve seen Balde-Cancelo under Xavi and it wasn’t good for OOP/rest defense

Xavi and Hansi don’t have the same setup or style

Lol. Xavi’s OOP is even more defensively set up than Hansi. Even under Hansi I think he’s tried the combination once if I’m not mistaken, there isn’t really much prospect to that defensively. Cos Balde is generally bad at defensive awareness and positioning.
