It is with great pleasure that we present 'Structures of Being' at Casa Batlló | Gaudí Barcelona, a landmark fusion of digital artistry and architectural wonder in the heart of Barcelona. This January, the vision of Sofia Crespo 🪸 & entangled others , innovators in integrating organic life with artificial intelligence, will redefine Gaudí's iconic façade through their transformative digital art. This captivating event is a highlight of the #LlumBCN 2024 festival and celebrates the 200th anniversary of Passeig de Gràcia. Crespo's unique approach employs advanced algorithms to create a dynamic interplay of visuals, blending Gaudí-inspired natural forms with ethereal digital renderings of the building. This creates an immersive narrative that bridges the gap between organic evolution and artistic innovation. Complementing the visual spectacle is a specially composed soundtrack by Robert M Thomas , featuring the talented Juan de la Rubia and the CosmosQuartet . This auditory and visual synergy brings a new dimension to the experience, inviting the audience to explore the convergence of art, nature, and technology. As #RFCCollection, we take immense pride in our involvement in this project. Our role spanned from artist selection to technological support and public relations, contributing significantly to the realization of this unique exhibition. More than a mere showcase, "Structures of Being" heralds a pivotal moment in the digital art landscape, embodying the seamless integration of technology and artistic expression, and signaling the evolving journey of digital art and its place within the revered realm of traditional art institutions. We invite art enthusiasts and digital art connoisseurs to join us in this celebration of innovation, tradition, and the future of art. This exhibition represents a significant advancement in the digital art domain, forging a path into a new era where technology and artistry coalesce.

Manfred Mohr for Art Basel: "The early programmers or mathematicians and scientists, they wanted to visualize something, either a mathematical formula or anything, and they drew lines. I'm not a scientist, and I'm not a mathematician. I was a painter." Digital Masterpieces: From Code to Canon, debuting at Art Basel's Zero 10, Basel (June 16 – 21, 2026).

INTERVIEW In the shifting tides of both contemporary and digital art, one constant remains: the crucial influence of collectors. They are the architects of the ecosystem, molding and guiding its evolution with every acquisition. Their passion, foresight, and unwavering dedication don't just sustain artists—they actively propel the cultural trend. In a series of interviews, Kate Vass seeks to peel back the layers and get to the heart of what drives a new wave of collectors—their connections with artists and the deeper motivations behind their digital art collections. In this discussion, we had the distinct pleasure of speaking with zaphodok, a passionate art collector who has been pushing the boundaries of art at the intersection of internet culture since the beginning. His collection, a treasure trove of generative and AI-driven works, offers a rare glimpse into the future of art. We hope you find as much inspiration in this interview as we did in bringing it to you. 👇
