Agree with Nuseir, particularly in light of the tragic events of the October 7 massacre. Israel is a socially diverse and pluralistic democracy that embraces all its citizens, regardless of their faith, ethnicity, or race. Therefore, it is imperative for Israeli Arabs to embrace and celebrate their Israeli national identity as well as experience a true sense of belonging as Israeli citizens.
