It is being reported that Keir Starmer has u-turned on compulsory digital ID. Yet the Labour government has admitted that digital ID is not being abandoned. Instead, they are watering down the word “compulsory” while still continuing to develop the framework and machinery for digital ID. It feels like the Labour government are trying to take the heat out of the huge opposition to digital ID and instead, nudge it forward and engineer digital ID under the radar. This cannot be allowed to happen. No one voted for digital ID. Keep the pressure up and hold the government to account. As I discussed with Ian Collins | Talk

At that time, the government refused to admit that they were working to implement it, and labelled me a conspiracy theorist for telling you the truth. Ironically, standing up for truth even in the face of ridicule is one of the best parts of my job! Unfortunately, the Liberal government is quietly moving towards imposing universal Digital ID, and completely circumventing Parliament and public consultation. Watch my video so you can understand how governments can easily abuse Digital ID.
