Pushpa is now in the police net. Jahangir Khan — the man who once said, “Jhukega Nahi” — was seen in Falta with his head bowed and hands folded as he was paraded by the police. Meanwhile, in an apparent bid to avoid arrest, two of his associates returned money allegedly collected as cut-money from beneficiaries of the housing scheme. According to local residents, the amounts ranged from ₹5,000 to ₹28,000 per person, with some allegedly paying ₹10,000. The money was returned on Sunday amid mounting pressure and an ongoing police crackdown.
