The real story of our success in Port Coquitlam isn’t just that we now have the lowest average property taxes and utility fees of any city in the region, it’s also that we achieved it while improving the services people rely on every day. Take curbside glass pickup. Not long ago, residents had to load up their cars and drive to a depot. I find it extremely interesting how so many Angels fans can just sit back and continue to be okay with this. The team is bad and the management from the front office down to the dugout has been bad. To make matters worse, I see some of you on here complaining about the tarps off movement in the stadium, saying things like “they’re saying bad words” or “it isn’t going to work so just give up,” and more of the same. At least there is a group here that actually cares and wants change, and they are willing to step out and protest in their own way. Stop being okay with losing. Stop being okay with ownership that does not care about the fans. Stop being okay with an inept front office. The players on the field deserve better, the fans deserve better, and the city of Anaheim deserves better. And most importantly, stop getting mad at the people who actually care. It is one thing if you choose to say or do nothing, but do not expect everyone else to sit quietly and accept losing like it is normal or acceptable. Sonder is what happens when that illusion breaks for a second. You stop seeing people as scenery and start seeing them as entire worlds. That is what makes it powerful. It does not just make the world feel bigger. It makes you more humble, more patient, and a little more aware of how much you do not know about the people around you. For one second, the background characters disappear. And everyone becomes real.

One of the followers sent these videos in. I am sent so many videos like this lately. This has gone past the point of “racism”. People are just sick and tired of this shit and they are using my page as an outlet to make themselves heard. What makes it worse is these people dont even like us. It’s sad to see this is coming from one of our churches. They have every right to feel this way and they have every right to post it. We live in a society of free speech and if anyone doesn’t like it you can just unfollow or block the page. I don’t want anything to do with you and I have no interest in your opinion. I refuse to silence people from having an opinion on what is happening to their home.
