🚨 Dimitar Berbatov slams Elliot Anderson’s reported £100M valuation amid Manchester United interest ahead of the summer transfer window: 🗣️ “I’ve heard Manchester United are looking at Elliot Anderson and I can understand the interest. You'll pay what we want or you'll fuck off. It's that simple. Fed up of top 6 clubs thinking they have some divine right to come out and moan to the media about players prices to try and get the player to become unsettled. Scum. #nffc

@siuustorm Berbatov’s right tbh. Anderson’s got energy and potential, but £100m after one good season? Classic United tax on English lads.

@siuustorm Exactly one good season with fighting relegation… That’s outrageous

@rocky3red What did berbatov say when United paid £100m on pogba £90m on Anthony £85m on Maguire £80m on sancho The list goes on... Anderson is worth what other similar players were sold for + Forest do not need to sell and he has 3 years on his deal Pay up or jog on

Been drooling over him all season, but #MUFC don't want to pay his worth? Fine. We've seen how that works out with our owner last summer at Spurs. Marinakas doesn't sell and Elliot stays. End of. #NFFC

Man Utd would rather spunk £70-80m on someone they have to loan out after a season for being shite.

Here’s the thing. He’s Forest’s player and under contract. They set his price. Pay it or fuck off. Don’t moan like a bitch.

So when did Declan Rice, Caicedo or Emzo "dominate for 5 or 6 years" to justify each of them costing over £100m? The buying clubs don't dictate what he's worth to us

The fee is £100m plus because we don't need to sell. Don't want to pay it ? Or moan about the price ... Absolutely no problem ! Move on so

Good job he isn’t going to Man Utd, he wants to win things.

Ever considered if players like Anderson are valued at £30/50 million it would be so easy for the ‘Sky 6’ to come and take who they want. How are teams like Forest ever expected to compete if those 6 teams snap up all the talent. If you want those players, pay up or fuck off.

Pay the asking price or fuck off, what’s so hard to understand.

The tone here is as if Forest owe utd something. We don’t need to sell, and that’s his value to us. You want him- pay it, you don’t want him that much, we will happily keep him. What’s so hard to understand?

@Sethofficial002 Manchester United paying this amount just shows how foolish we are on the market

They are talking as if they actually have a chance of signing him. Anderson is going to the very top of the game, not Man Utd That's why the price seems high to you

He's worth that and more to Forest. No one is forcing you to pay it. 🤷

Agree Anderson’s valuation by Forest is crazy high but so are several others. Until the @premierleague/@UEFA establish a board to examine transfer fees & intervene when grossly excessive fees are demanded, this will continue esp re @ManUtd who are constantly ripped off by rivals!

Michael Owen on RB Leipzig rejecting Real Madrid’s €100 million bid for Yan Diomandé and demanding €130 million. 🗣️ “Rejecting a €100 million offer from Real Madrid for a player who’s only just broken into top-level football is astonishing. I don’t care how talented Yan Diomandé is that kind of valuation has to be earned over years, not after one breakthrough season.” “I like the player. I think he has enormous potential. But potential doesn’t automatically make you a €130 million footballer. Football has started paying for dreams instead of achievements, and that’s becoming a serious problem.” “The moment Real Madrid enter the race, some clubs completely lose perspective. Suddenly every exciting young talent is worth a record-breaking fee. That’s not smart business anymore—that’s simply overpricing the player.” “€100 million is already an incredible statement of belief from Real Madrid. Most young players can only dream of a club valuing them that highly. To reject that and immediately demand another €30 million feels completely disconnected from reality.” “If RB Leipzig genuinely don’t want to sell him, then come out and say he’s not for sale. But asking for €130 million after one outstanding season makes it look like they’re using Real Madrid’s interest to inflate the market beyond reason.” “Real Madrid aren’t buying a Ballon d’Or winner or a player who’s dominated Europe for five or six years. They’re buying a footballer with incredible promise. There is a huge difference, and transfer fees should reflect that.” “This is exactly why the transfer market is becoming harder every year. Clubs complain that fewer elite deals happen, yet they’re the ones putting impossible price tags on players who are still at the very beginning of their careers.” “Leipzig have every right to protect their asset, but rejecting €100 million for a player who has only just announced himself to world football is a huge gamble. If his development slows down or injuries arrive, people will look back and ask whether greed got in the way of common sense.”

🚨David Ornstein on Manchester United’s position regarding Marcus Rashford and Mateus Fernandes: 🗣️ “Manchester United’s stance on Marcus Rashford remains unchanged. The club is open to listening to offers and there is a growing feeling internally that a permanent separation would be the best outcome for all parties. While Rashford remains a player of significant quality, United’s focus is on building a new project and reshaping the squad. Regarding Mateus Fernandes, Manchester United appreciate the player’s talent and potential. However, the club does not currently believe the reported valuation represents good value in the market. United’s recruitment team views Fernandes as a promising midfielder with a bright future, but there is caution about committing such a substantial fee. If West Ham fail to lower their asking price, Manchester United are prepared to move on and pursue alternative targets. The club has a number of midfielders on its shortlist and does not intend to become involved in a prolonged transfer saga. Among the names being considered are Sandro Tonali, Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson, Ederson and Aurélien Tchouaméni. United believe those players offer different qualities but are all capable of strengthening the midfield immediately. The priority remains signing a midfielder who can bring athleticism, control, defensive security and leadership to the team. As things stand, Fernandes remains admired, but Manchester United will not hesitate to explore other options if they feel the financial demands do not align with the player’s current market value.” {Sky News }
