From an old lady's perspective listening to this it's barely scratching the surface of the problem. (It doesn't really explain how many of my older friends have fallen for the mind-virus here; people who were/are "conservative", Christian-heavily versed in Bible)...1) Yes, there is massive distrust in government(s). And for the crimes that have been inflicted on us just over the past 10 or so years, no one is really doing anything about it. 2) So it follows that "the government is very capable of lying, covering up". I hear that from my older friends....3) Problems with powers of discernment. Some will fall for the false narratives. The older folks...dementia, the "jabs" as contributing to cognitive issues(?), some more prone to conspiracy theories(?)...4) Decades of rot in educational institutions; rot and destruction of family, church, etc...leading to destruction of sense of community, belonging, personal and collective identity, etc....I have studied Islam over the past 20 years. Islam has a long history of honing their power of stealth jihad. It is using our own system of law to cover for what they do. And for folks who really know little about our system of government, society they have no true foundation to tell fact from lie....Having been at this a while, the whole thing seems quite large, hard to take on, understand; many just give up and give in, I suppose. Trying to be succinct, concise...it's a large issue and a lot of reasons for it.

@DineshDSouza Some people have softened on Islam because its true that 75% of them just want to live in peace. But that doesn't mean we can ignore the other 25% that want to kill us all.

@DineshDSouza Some conservatives are not religious and so they don't perceive the danger of Islam. Islam is Satan, Satan is Islam and if you're not rooted in Christian worldview then you don't fully comprehend that.
