The first dinosaur bone was discovered in 1676, they thought it was a giant human bone. Megalosaurus was found and named in 1824. It wasn't in the "1850's" Furthermore, several museums put up the real fossils, but casts are used more frequently as they display better.

Dinosaurs were described before The Origin of Species, with the first, megalosaurus, being described in 1827.

This ridiculous speech can be debunked in about 50 ways. Pretty sure most five-year-olds know the dinosaur bones in the museums are not actual bones. They’re moulds of the bones. This guy thinks he’s onto something? You guys rule!!

When we lived in AZ foothere was a severe drought, The lake was drying up that summer that normally was stocked full of trout for the Indian Health Service employees and natives to fish from without needing to license. The lake was way down that summer and we walked out where there used to be water because we saw what appeared to be bones sticking out of the soil that was all dried up by then. It was bones. It was some kind of dinosaur bones and the creature had apparently died there. In the middle of where this thing lay was a batch of stones. I had no idea what it was but I bent down and grabbed one because it was so smooth and polished looking! Almost green really and I was fascinated by it. I took it to a local expert at the college there and he informed me that it was a 'gastrolith', or gizzard stone that dinosaurs swalled to aid in digestion. I told him of the find and he went down there with professors and a team from the college and they grabbed up what they could before the lake filled back up again. It was a major dig and they found a complete skeleton and the gizzard stones it had swallowed. Several more were there besides mine and I of course handed the one I found over to the proper authorities. These things walked the earth I saw the bones myself!!

It’s amusing to see and hear people run their jaw about things they have absolutely zero clue about. You can believe whatever you want. As a palaeontologist of 15 years, I guarantee you that dinosaurs absolutely existed and many descendants exist to this day.

The first dinosaur bone was discovered in 1824, but Darwin didn’t publish his book until 1859, so your telling me Darwin predicted himself, and fabricated a bone 35 years prior to his observations & discoveries? Yea great move.

Cultures *do* have recorded history of dragons and giants though.. another reason they need big animal explanations.

Funny I just went to the natural history museum for the first time in decades and saw all the plastic bones 😂

It wasn't "one meteor" there have been dozens of mass extinction events. And although other cultures dont have any writings or depictions of "dinosaurs" they do sure all to seem to have similar depictions of Dragons and other mythical reptiles.

Dinosaurs were not the only prehistoric animals to have existed, so then by that logic all of the other creatures are fake also?
