The Ahmadiyya Community in Pakistan wholly supports the respected PM statement regarding protecting all the vulnerable communities in the Country. However, it is of great concern to us that the commitment expressed by the respected PM should also be put into action. As we have seen recently since his oath, 12 Ahmadiyya places of worship in total have been desecrated while 10 of these places of worship were attacked after his speech on the Jaranwala incident. What is more worrisome here is that majority of these desecrations were carried out either by the Police officials themselves or in their presence despite there being a Judgement by the Lahore High Court clearly barring them to take such actions.

Today, we agreed on the final details, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that as many leaders and countries as possible attend the Summit. This is a matter of principle.
