Direct comparison of current Squad vs the proposed changes to visual recoil and sway in the playtest version. Full video in the works for another day or so, but thought yall would like seeing this. I think this is a huge W.

Fully kitted XM4 and Jackal PDW recoil comparison pre and post patch of today's huge weapon sway and visual recoil reduction overhaul. This is a very noticeable difference and at first glance feels much more comparable to warzone 1 levels of visual recoil. 1st pass is uncontrolled recoil, 2nd pass is controlling, 3rd is 25% speed and zoomed. Gotta give praise where its due, thank you Treyarch Raven Software - plenty of things to still work on, but this is a massive step in the right direction

Thought I would share this video with you guys. The snippet we have had for years is extremely low quality and it’s also cut by about 10 seconds. For most of you this is probably your first time seeing this in near full quality, the current video is so horrible 😭

Nick Wright proposed a white vs. black race war replacement for the ASG, and even though I don’t love the optics, I have to say this would be compelling. Effort in the NBA is so bad on a nightly basis, but players would absolutely be into this.

Another amazing update to CS2 so quickly. Screen shake while spraying has been dramatically reduced. You can very clearly feel the difference, it's almost like there's no shaking at all in the new version. This is a great improvement for the feel of spraying. I almost feel sick watching the old version. When spraying in CS2, players need to be able to feel the recoil, to know where they are in the spray, and to be able to adjust based on the enemy player's movement. I just played a full game with this, and the difference is night and day. Valve has been cooking like CRAZY lately. This is another of those updates that definitely should have been in the game from the very beginning.

This is how sniping with the Mosin-Nagant is going to look like when Squad's update finally drops. As much as I love the Picture-in-Picture optics, this feels like way too small of a sight picture. Realistic or not, this isn't fun.
