I think I fall into this category with chronic stuff, but like... what do we need to be listened to or heard on exactly? Like I understand this for a workplace and stuff but I stream at my house with my equipment on my schedule... so I don't understand the point?

It really amazes me how many people are so ignorant to the dangers of radical Islam. “Just get out of there” isn’t a fucking strategy, because they don’t want to live alone in peace, they want to take over your country and cut your head off. It’s a convert or kill death cult, and it will never be satisfied until it destroys the west. We are their end game, and when it comes to terrorism, the best defense is a good offense.

For all the kids out there with a dream to play hockey at a high level, there are two things you may not realize that scouts look at A LOT: 1. You’d be shocked at how many scouts have LiveBarn accounts. They want to watch you practice to see how much you value getting better. There’s a long road between where you are today and the level you aspire to be at - they want to know you’re going to put in the work to get better so you’re able to play at the next level. 2. They’re watching you on the bench. How do you interact with your teammates? Do you take coaching? Are you pumped for your teammates and engaged in the game? Do you have good body language? These intangibles are what get scouts excited on top of what they see on the ice. It’s the little things that make championship players and teams. Alright parents how many times have your kids crawled out of their rooms and headed into the kitchen for a snack, only to throw their hands up in despair and proclaim that you have nothing to eat. I don’t know about you but most of us parents pride ourselves in how we provide for our families. We keep our kitchens so stocked that we can’t even find the food we wanna eat half the time but we know we have it. Are these kids just too lazy to look or are they being ungrateful again, what would you say to your kid if they claimed you had nothing to eat?

If you have these big goals… please please please give yourself patience and time to get there .. You could want all these things but pls realize how rare they actually are and pls be kind to yourself while you’re climbing the mountain because wayyyyy too many of my DMs are about “why aren’t I there yet”
