So much for protecting the troops! The US base and CIA headquarters in northern Iraq are no longer being defended by air defence systems and are out of interceptor missiles and instead American troops are having to resort to using rifles (AAA) to defend against Iranian drones. Multiple drones have exploded and caused scores of casualties and injuries.

Just a few years ago, the Philippines has no modern Missiles to defend our skies, and we're just relying with manual AA guns. Now the Philippine Air Force 🇵🇭 was able to showcase the SPYDER-MR Surface-to-Air Missile System, and Mitsubishi J/TPS-P14ME Mobile Radar in a military parade.

ZELENSKYY: Shahed drones shoot-down rate is 92%. All 6 russian Kalibr missiles were shot down, as well as 31 of 33 cruise missiles. From the first days of the full-scale war, Russia wanted free use of Ukraine's skies to strike our people. It failed, because our aviation and air defence did not let the enemy do it. The Air Force shielded the sky. Since 24 February 2022, Ukrainian air defence has destroyed over 445,000 aerial targets. Almost every day, we defend our skies against Russian missiles and drones. Just last night, Ukraine was attacked by 103 Shahed drones, which contained 8,755 foreign-made components. Over the past week, Russia has used more than 630 strike drones, approximately 740 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 50 missiles of various types – totaling over 50,000 sanctioned components sourced from around the world. The sanctions pressure on supply chains for foreign components remains insufficient. Russia continues to acquire the components and manufacturing tools it needs – almost globally – and uses them in the weapons it employs to terrorize Ukraine. We must continue strengthening cooperation with all our partners on sanctions, air defense systems, long-range weapons, and support for our warriors. These are US Patriot missiles firing to intercept ballistic missiles incoming from Iran over the skies of Jordan. Iran has been firing missiles and drones at Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain for the past couple of hours as a response to the earlier strikes by the US on Iranian targets. My prediction is that the IRGC are going to make a grave miscalculation and do something from which there is no going back on. Then things will really escalate.
