Discussed with my students today about how S-400 Air Defence System works—from detection to destruction in seconds. But the real goal is to build such systems indigenously And for that, we need our brightest engineers from these very classrooms. #S400MissileSystem #MakeInIndia

There are Akash sam, mr-sam, pichora which are also used, not only s400. Don't give every credit to it, just because it's foreign made! Akash literally shot down Turkish UAVs like flies! Even Mr-sam is very lethal & deployed in every frontline bases, people doesn't know all that!

bruhh stop giving credits to only S 400, it has lil role. The main defences were Akash AD, L 70 guns. which are indigenously made. Stop brainwashing Kids indirectly that foreign goods are better. stop it 🤦

Good work of explaining about foreign systems and keeping ur mouth shut when it comes to desi systems. Btw we are building a desi equivalent of S-400 called Kusha to be ready by 2028-29. Half the cost n as capable as S-400.

I am deeply grateful to all our partners who support us with air defense systems and missiles. This is a truly global effort. Every time Russia carries out such attacks, it underscores how critical it is that partners don’t leave systems like Patriot and others sitting idle in warehouses, but instead provide them to those who know how to protect lives and urgently need them. We still haven’t received all the necessary systems from our allies—but we continue to work toward that goal. Once these systems are in place, our ability to repel attacks will be much stronger. One more thing: The plan for strengthening Ukraine is the Victory Plan that I presented to our partners. One of its key elements is providing our army with long-range capabilities. There’s been much said in the media today that we have received approval to take relative actions. But strikes are not carried out with words. These things are not announced. The missiles will speak for themselves.

This is how the Russian S-400 Triump Air defence system (ADS) works. The Indian army also used the same kind of S-400 system to shoot down Pakistani UAVs & missiles in the last few days.

Zelensky: We had no choice but to rebuild our own industry from scratch. And I believe that technologically, in drones and other areas, we were able to make such leaps because it was a question of survival. But when it comes to air defense, unfortunately, you know, hundreds of air-defense systems that Ukraine had in the 1990s were sold off, and this continued into the 2000s. These were Soviet systems, Soviet missiles — primarily S-300 air-defense systems. Nevertheless, we began working with our partners, and we are also working on these systems ourselves.

Our first meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer in the format of a strategic dialogue. Today, we signed the Ukraine-UK Enhanced Security and Defence Industrial Collaboration Declaration. This is an important step to strengthen our defence. I informed the Prime Minister about the situation on the frontline, Russian attacks, and our needs to protect lives. We discussed the development of joint defence production and strengthening Ukraine’s air defence with additional missiles for air defence systems. Of course, we also touched on the situation in the Middle East. I thank the United Kingdom and personally Keir Starmer for the support. We in Ukraine sincerely appreciate it.

Fighter jets don’t “see” with cameras-they use radar. From slow spinning dishes to modern AESA systems that can track targets and jam enemies at the same time, this is how air combat detection really works.

What the Russians want is the complete destruction of life. In more than eleven years of Russia’s war against Ukraine, they have brought only one new thing to our land, the most widespread Russian “legacy”, ruins and death. We must continue resisting this. I thank everyone around the world who is helping. The Russians are preparing to continue the war and are ignoring all peace proposals. They must be held accountable. We are working to strengthen Ukraine’s air defence. We urgently need positive signals from the United States regarding air defence systems — we are still waiting for a response to our request to purchase systems that can help. I thank the European countries for supplies. We must also achieve results in joint production of air defence systems and missiles, this is absolutely essential for our whole Europe. Only time separates us from that result, and what matters most is shortening that time.

The Indian Air Force is set to procure 400 Inflatable decoys that replicate fighter aircraft and advanced air defence systems, including the #S400 Triumf. These decoys are aimed at bolstering the IAF’s deception and survivability tactics, making it harder for adversaries to distinguish real assets from decoys during surveillance or strike missions.

Russia’s S-400 vs U.S. Patriot PAC-3: Two Systems, Two Ways to Stop an Attack Russia’s S-400 and America’s Patriot PAC-3 represent two distinct approaches to modern air defence. One focuses on layered coverage using multiple interceptor types, while the other relies heavily on precision interception and networked missile defence. But how do these systems actually compare? From radar and interceptor technology to engagement ranges and battlefield roles, this video breaks down the key differences between the S-400 and Patriot PAC-3 and explains what makes each system unique. Turkish Deputy FM Levent Gümrükçü: When we found ourselves in 2016–2017, especially after the failed coup attempt in Türkiye, some of our allies decided to redeploy their Patriot systems that were deployed in Türkiye. We found ourselves in 2016–2017 with a very urgent need to fill an immediate gap in our air defense architecture. That's why we were compelled to buy this S-400 as an immediate gap filler. But in no way did that mean that our quest for an air defense system stopped there. As I mentioned, this is a one-off procurement. This is an immediate gap filler. Our commitment is, and will continue to be, to procure the air defense system that will be interoperable with the rest of the Alliance.

Hyper-rotation training has gone on for far too long. Being moved from trust to trust is disruptive to our work and personal lives. These pilots that start today is just the beginning. We're pushing for real change, but we need to hear from you. Tell us how rotations work in your region, and what you'd like to see happen next👉

When air defence is discussed, the assumption is often total protection. But that assumption does not hold, especially in India’s context. At the Strategic Renaissance of Air Power Conference, Air Marshal Diptendu Chowdhary pointed to the core challenge: scale. The sheer size of India makes it impossible to build an air defence system that stops every drone or every incoming strike. Even heavily layered systems, like those seen in Israel, have not been impermeable. The lesson? Air defence is not about perfection. It is about resilience under saturation. In modern warfare, some threats will get through. The real question is not can you stop everything, but can you absorb, respond, and continue to fight? #AirDefence #DroneWarfare #MilitaryStrategy #IndiaSecurity #chakranewz Sandeep Anurag Awasthi deepak bhadana Diptendu Choudhury

Russia promised India that it would deliver two more S-400 air defense systems. Russia and India signed a contract for almost $5,5 billion in 2018 for Russia to deliver five systems by the end of 2023. The first three systems have been delivered, but the delivery of the remaining two has been delayed by Russia's war against Ukraine. Now Russia promises to deliver one S-400 system in 2026, and the next one in 2027. It is reported that the S-400 system was used during the operation against Pakistan.

Our technical colleges have, over the years, been left to rot, undervaluing the unique type of education they provide and the critical role they play in building a skilled and productive society. We are changing that by strengthening these institutions to focus on practical, technical, and vocational skills that prepare our students for real opportunities. The tools and equipment provided are deliberately selected to align with future-ready skills, not outdated methods, ensuring our students are trained for the realities of today and tomorrow. These schools are equipped to nurture not just future employees, but future employers, giving students the tools and environment to practice what they are taught and build real capacity. Our goal is clear: to prepare our young people for the future by giving them access to the right skills, resources, and opportunities to succeed. In addition, students will benefit from incubation programmes after school, supporting those with entrepreneurial ambitions to turn their ideas into reality. Tomorrow is here.
