it's amazing how confident people are when they are wrong and yet you still see the same thing happening today with current tech. lotsa people confidently wrong but don't know it

LOL Computers are only good for writing programs? Talk about completely missing the boat. Just like the other conceits that computers were just glorified typewriters (word processors) or calculators (spreadsheets).
