PTI women have been abducted and are being mistreated in jails, kept under inhumane conditions and subjected to severe mental torture when none were involved in the arson. They were humiliated while protesting peacefully only to terrorise and scare women from exercising their fundamental right of protest in future and also to depoliticise them. I am proud of the way all our women have withstood everything with such dignity and courage.

This morning at Pa Adebanjo’s burial in Ogun State, Peter Obi arrived and met some elderly men and women outside. They were not allowed in as the security stated the Church was full. But they were elderly and standing under the sun when there were still a few seats inside and even a large canopy for shade. The security saw Peter Obi and immediately opened the locked gate for only him to go in but he stood by the gate insisting that the elderly men and women go in first to sit or at least stay under the shade before he would go in They were all filled with smiles and thanks for his kindness as they noted some others have gone in without even assisting them. A man of the people ❣️.

A serious incident of alleged rape and mistreatment of one Baloch women by Pakistani forces has been reported in Jacobabad district of Sindh. According to reports, a few days ago Pakistani forces raided a house in Jacobabad and took one Baloch women into custody. They were forcibly moved to a forces camp at an unknown location. Sources say the women were kept in illegal detention for six days, where they were subjected to physical torture, abuse, and alleged gang rape. After the women went missing, their family repeatedly appealed to state authorities for their recovery. A group of friends were on their boat fishing for the day. They started fishing on one end of the lake and everything was fine until they started getting less fish. Their equipment was showing fish on another end of the lake. The guys go to the other end and start fishing, but then their engine on the boat started stalling and they were stranded in the water. To make matters worst, a man in a bigger and stronger boat was upset they were fishing there. He started to create a wake that almost sunk their boat when he got within 10 feet of them. I always thought if another boat was having problems that you were required to help them, but shouldn’t he be charged for trying to sink them?
