Mark Carney says Alberta will get a pipeline if... B.C approves, first nations approves and it's paid for by the private sector. Why would the private sector want to take on all that risk? This is why nothing gets built in Canada. Too many roadblocks!

Only Mark Carney stands in the way of a pipeline to the Pacific. Premiers cannot stop it as courts ruled that the federal government has sole power over interprovincial pipelines. This Liberal government vetoed this same pipeline in 2016. This time, Carney must get out the way and let business & workers build this wildly profitable & popular project.

So let me get this straight… Canada is supposed to go fully electric while the rest of the world moves away from Net Zero policies and ramps up oil, gas and coal production? How exactly does destroying our own energy sector “save the planet” if global emissions keep rising anyway? Mark Carney is already warning Canadians they’ll need to “sacrifice more” and if we get it wrong, energy prices could become astronomical. So the plan is to cripple our own industry… then import foreign oil and gas at higher prices? This may be the most absurd economic strategy Canada has ever embraced. How did Canadians get stuck with Mr. Net Zero?

Our Minister of Energy Lied: He claims that China & Canada share a goal of achieving net zero. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. The actual CO2 emission from China tells a completely different story. They are building record number of coal factories. The only thing that is true, is that Mark Carney has no set of ideals that he lives by, & he will flip-flop as long as he gets to profit from it. And if tariffs are dropped by Canada on electric vehicles, Mark Carney gets to benefit from it with Brookfields investments in China. His stock options are now worth over $20 million.

For that same money, Canada could buy roughly 500 of the most advanced water bombers on Earth… built right here in Calgary and put out forest fires immediately. He also scrapped the $2 BILLION tree planting program that actually removed carbon from the atmosphere naturally. This was never about the environment. It’s about control, contracts, and money.

I’ve got a foot in both economies, I’m Canadian, Irish, and my kids are American. What makes no sense to me is where Canada and the U.S. are right now. We’re neighbors. Canada has the natural resources the largest economy on Earth needs. That’s a massive opportunity. I’ve seen this work before. Deals get done when leaders meet privately, no cameras, no posturing. Just policy and outcomes. That’s why I believe Mark Carney and Donald Trump need to sit down, one-on-one, and work it out. It could be a win-win for both countries.
