Y'all realize Disney/Marvel have full creative control over the Spiderman movies with Tom Holland, right? They also have full creative control over the Hulk in this movie. This IS Disney/Marvel Hulk. Sony is just the group that financed this movie.

The 2003 Hulk is the most comic book accurate and the most powerful to date, superior to the Disney's version. Ang Lee understood the character to explore his traumas, his psychology, his fears, his intelligence and his powers, more than just being a monster who destroys things.

Are we serious? Sony co-produced the movie with disney/marvel. To be more specific, Sony had no say or influence behind hulk transformation. They only deal with Spiderman as a character. So while yes this "new" hulk is in a disney/sony picture, sony has nothing to do with it.

Sony did not make that movie. Marvel Studios and Disney made that damn movie. It was just a Sony Production. They didn’t do a goddamn thing besides budget and profit. Only thing they have ever done with their live action movies is Spider-Man movies without spider man. Weirdos.

Smart Hulk (the post-Endgame version) was never “bad” — he represented real character growth. Bruce finally integrating the two sides of himself, keeping his intellect while carrying the strength. That version made sense for the story they were telling at the time: a man who’d spent years at war with himself finally finding peace. The humor, the tank top, the therapy talk… it fit the more grounded, character-driven phase of the MCU.
