Cmac is the one that elevated the 49ers off. He faces eight man in the box at a 40% rate, which is highest in the league. This forces defenses to play Man, which makes it easier for the receivers and Purdy. The same way Jimmy G’s numbers jumped up when 49ers got Cmac

Some of his best decisions were throwaways. He had 7 throwaways in the game, matching his season total. It wasn't a great game for the 49ers WRs or the running game. That meant Purdy would need to make plays while playing within himself on obvious passing downs. He did.
