probably the first online game anyone has built with Astra.... you can solo play it or play with a friend it’s built with Astra + Blender took me around 4 hours to make.. i think with a bit more polish, this could actually be really good. game is still very early, but you might like it, especially if you played competitive MMORPG PvP.. give it a try! >

Hands down my fav LIS edit of all time. The song, the way it fits the scenes from every episode. It’s just a masterpiece, it embodies everything about the game so perfectly. Whenever I watch it I can recall some of the unique feelings from the first time I’ve ever played it.

Golden Girl isn't on Spotify or online much other than YouTube so I thought I'd do a video especially. IMO it's one of the most perfect drum and bass tracks ever made, I played it in every set for at least 5 years. RIP Con ♥️♾️

I still remember the thrill I felt when I first saw the opening of Tales of Phantasia. It was probably the first time I’d ever seen a Super Famicom game with a vocal opening, and it honestly felt groundbreaking back then. I also loved how the combat played out like an action game, and overall it was just a really fun experience. At the time, I never imagined the Tales series would become such a long-running franchise, but seeing new titles still coming out even now is pretty amazing. I’ve only played up to Tales of Destiny. Which game in the Tales series did you enjoy the most?

I grew up with the C64 (early 80s) as so many of you here. My very first game ever, the one that my brother and I played to death, was Falcon Patrol (1983) designed by Steve Lee. If there is one sound I will remember until my final days, it will be the refueling sound of the jet. What was your first computer and the very first game you played on it? (Not a game that you played at your friend's place or at the arcades - but the first game on your very own first computer)

Found my lost childhood game — and rebuilt it in 3D with Fable 5 + Godot. AirXonix — one of the first games I ever played. My sister and I wore it out on a single PC. Nostalgia hit hard. So I gave Claude Fable 5 the full toolbox: Godot MCP + Blender MCP + APIs for textures, 3D models, SFX, even the music. The whole pipeline in one chat. Honestly? More fun than I've had in months. And the game came out genuinely good. Full build:

It frustrates me how Mafia 3 is a brilliantly written and directed game for its first 4 hours then just falls off a cliff because it gets hampered down by the worst game design structure decisions I've ever seen. I still like Mafia 3 but it had so much wasted potential.

This is my first ever game that I made in 2 weeks, it's about my internalized fear of women and relationships. I'm expecting to make a million dollars from sales. The game is "I Just Want to be Single!!" and you can play the demo right now on Steam

Duke Nukem 3D was the first game we ever played in a LAN setting. Whether at an internet café (now a thing of the past, like Blockbuster) or a friend's house, those LAN sessions were legendary. Hauling a 17" monitor, tower, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and cables was quite a sight - especially on public transport. The stares from the older generation (who, I now realize, are my age!) were priceless. The graphics, epic sound effects, legendary weapons, and Duke's total badass attitude made it truly emblematic of 90s gaming. I don't think I ever played a better LAN game.

How huge of a letdown is the 8-Bit Shotgun in Fortnite? I had such high hopes for this thing and it turned out to literally be the worst shotgun this game has ever had besides the Heavy Shotgun. What do you think?

Turner: When I played in the NFL, we had this thing called game film. You know all about film. We had a saying that said, the film don't lie. The film tells a real story. And I hope that the American people when they watch the film that's going on now, they will see America is greater today than it ever has been.

Inde Navarrette says “Shrek 2” on PlayStation 2 was the first video game she ever played: “I’ve been trying to find it. It doesn’t fully exist. I think it was only on PS2, but they had big heads. It was like if ‘Mario Party’ and Shrek had a baby, so it was like Shrek Party.” Watch the full video:

There are many things that I remember about first playing Populous (1989), Bullfrog's absolutely groundbreaking God game. 1) I had no clue what I was supposed to do. 2) That didn't matter, because the game still had this irresistible pull - mostly because it was so very different from any other game I had played before. 3) The background music was incredible, almost haunting, and very much adding an extra layer of "OMG yes!" to the game. Populous lets you play as a deity shaping isometric landscapes - raising/lowering terrain, summoning floods, earthquakes, swamps, and volcanoes. I would guess that not many ever finished the game (500 levels!) but pretty much everyone played it. To me this is a historic milestone in gaming history.

"I played hard, I played with passion every single day. I'm a fiery guy, but you know I cared. I wanted to win, I wanted to do well. I think the fans knew that. I want to be known as a player who played the game the right way, gave it his all, and enjoyed being in the Mets organization." Weird Dreams (Rainbird Software, 1989) is indeed a very fitting title for one of the weirdest games ever. You are playing the character Steve, who is fighting for his life in the form of dream challanges. If you fail, you flatline. I wasn't a kid anymore when I first played this, but in my teenage years. Pretty much creeped me out back then, and still looks pretty funky now. The game got extremely mixed reviews, with some magazines rating it in the 80-90% range, while others hated it (scores of below 30%). If there was ever a game that had the perfect title, this would be it. Total nutcase, never played anything like it since.

Shadow of the Beast (1989) might have rather average gameplay, but its intro is hands down one of the best I have ever seen on the Amiga. I would often just load up the game and then let it run in the background. David Whittaker has created arguably one of the most recognizable and iconic tunes in gaming history. 37 years later and I still get nerd chills when I hear the first couple of seconds. Name a game that had a better intro. I’ll wait…
