Steve, there is a certain hubris that is at play here. Many Americans falsely believe that China needs American consumers: it doesn't. Exports to the US constitute just 3 percent of China's GDP. The US picked a fight with 85 percent of the world's GDP.

Highly unlikely. China has a tough road ahead. Due to declining birth rates and changing demographics they will lose 1/3 of their population in the next 30 years. This alone paints a gloomy picture. I'm betting on the US here.

He also strongly believes the US caused Russia to invade Ukraine. He seems kinda anti-American. 🤷♂️
