This is exactly what I’ve been saying all along. People need time in to reevaluate their life and sober up their minds in jail. Tough love, but it works!

JJ... If Matt Dorsey thinks he's going get any more than two of every 100 arrestees to follow a Court mandated Recovery Program... He forgets his Own Addiction History! We can not use a hammer to force people to accept the long road to Recovery! It has to come from within, and a gut desire for them to Quit Drugs! Unfortunately, Tranq is a too powerful and controlling Mistress! Dorsey is proposing just another "All Talk, No Do" political stunt, like he always does! If Dorsey was serious for a solution, we would have seen evidence on the streets! You know, better than anyone, it is worse, not better! Until we stop giving Drug Tourists all this free crap, stop their shoplifting our stores, and doing drugs, unimpeded on our Streets....

They can get rehab in jail. The whole problem in San Francisco started with the rehab people. It's a scam. "Rehab, housing, give us some taxpayer money and will develop a program." It's fake. Drug addicts, and drug dealers, can share the same jail cell.
