We need to show Australia what our marvellous diversity contributes. We need to tell our stories of hardship and struggle, because we know it’s not easy as migrants. And importantly, we need to stand up for each other. When any one of our communities is under attack, together we stand up and defend them. Most importantly, we defend multiculturalism by making sure our kids know they don’t have to choose between their cultural heritage and Australian nationality. That’s the promise of this country. Multiculturalism won’t defend itself. It depends on all of us demonstrating everyday that it’s diversity that makes our country stronger and richer.”

To say "Diversity is our strength" is to imply our identity and culture are bland and inferior without immigration. It is a slur against our indigenous people. We were better before the "enrichment" of mass migration and multiculturalism. We will be better when both are reversed.
