“Division is the oldest trick in politics, & the cheapest. But time & again… those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress.” Zohran Kwame Mamdani addresses Americans ahead of America’s 250th Independence Day, calling out leaders who divide the nation.

$update: now you can use css progress() for adaptive radius, shadow, etc. ↓ same trick, but progress() does the division + clamps for you! 🧑‍🍳 .card__surface { --r: 42px; --g: 24px; border-radius: calc( progress((100vi - 100cqi) / 2, 0px, var(--g)) * var(--r) ); }$

Pritzker: Your operation has sown fear and division and chaos among law-abiding residents in our communities. If you are unwilling to cease operations and leave our city, can we at least agree that our children should not be victims especially on Halloween? No child in America should have to go trick or treating in fear that they might be confronted with armed federal agents and have to inhale teargas. I can't believe I have to make this plea. This is not the America I know.

The Blueprint of Division: From South Africa to Kenya Six centuries of plunder, and the playbook hasn’t changed. As the grip of neo-colonial powers slips, they have outsourced their oldest trick - divide and rule - to a class of puppet political elites. From South Africa to Nairobi, systemic governance failures are packaged as xenophobia, manipulating Africans into policing their own colonial-era borders. The Scramble for Africa never ended; we’ve just allowed our own leaders to become the foot soldiers of our own fragmentation.

WATCH: Joe Rogan says if he were running a cabal that he would trick the left into believing “creepy communist sh*t,” like censorship, vaccine passports, CBDC, and hormone blockers to create division. This hits too close to home. “I would say, let's see if we can get the left to support like censorship, pro-war, invasive politics, like entering into people's homes and classrooms and siphoning up their information in order to protect trans kids in f—king Detroit or whatever it is, come up with some fucking reason and make everybody get a part of a centralized digital currency, because that's better for everybody. And put everybody on an app so we know if you're vaccinated. That's the left!”

30 years ago today! ⏰❤️ 🗣️ “Ibrox has so often the scene of a recurring nightmare in preceding years, became a field of dreams for Hearts as they ripped Rangers apart to record a truly memorable Premier Division win. Not since April 1988 had the Jambos managed to beat Rangers on their home patch, but all that changed thanks to a performance which went down in Tynecastle folklore. He’s known as “Magic” down Gorgie way and Allan Johnston lived up to his name on a memorable day for Hearts. He scored a magnificent hat-trick in a 3-0 win for the Edinburgh side. The youngster showed composure and talent ahead of his years with all 3 finishes past a helpless Andy Goram. ❤️❤️❤️ Allan Johnston x 3 against Rangers. 20/1/1996. #HeartsFC #HeartsGoals #ClassicHeartsFCGoals #HeartOfMidlothianFC

RFK Jr. says that he would defeat Trump/Harris in 2024 if Americans voted for who they actually believed in and not out of fear: “Don't vote out of fear. Don't vote because you think a person is going to end the Republic.” “If people voted for the person they want to vote for, I'll win.” “I don't attack President Trump or President Biden. I talk about their issues, where they're wrong, but personally, I don't attack them.” “I've tried to find the values that unite us all as Americans, rather than focusing on the culture war issues that are used to keep us at each other's throats.” Even with Biden being switched out with Kamala, RFK has not changed the overall goal of his campaign, which is to end the polarization and unite America. The mainstream media is going to heighten the fear narratives over the next few months. Do not fall for this trick, they do it literally every election. A bipartisan issue that is recognized from the far left to the far right is the division in our country. Neither Trump or Kamala will do anything to unite the country, they thrive off the division. If your biggest issue heading into the 2024 election is Making America United Again, out of the three main candidates RFK seems to be the only candidate actually focused on this issue.

New York City Mayor Mamdani just gave one of the most amazing speeches you will ever hear: "We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, and more powerful than everyone else. "The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place. The frontier may be closed. We may have walked on the moon. But the work of fulfilling the values first enshrined in the Declaration of Independence — that work endures, and it belongs to us all. "It belongs, too, to our newest Americans: those standing here with me today, all of whom were recently naturalized. Nearly a decade ago, I, too, felt what you feel: the joy of no longer being just a New Yorker, but an American, too. "You each hold a special power: the power to determine what America means. "The powerful have always known their answer. America, in their view, is an arena of supremacy where only a select few are allowed freedom; where not all are created equal. America, if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes. America, they will tell you, belongs only to those with the right accent or the right shade of skin. The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit. "How small they are. How weak. How unoriginal. "At every moment in our past, those who led through exclusion and isolation have tried to win power and enrich themselves by turning us against one another. Division is the oldest trick in politics — and the cheapest. "But time and again, including 250 years ago, those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress."

Division is the oldest trick in politics, and the cheapest. But time and again-including 250 years ago-those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress. And yet today, too many of our leaders do not believe in a vision of this nation as an asylum for the persecuted-but rather as one that persecutes those seeking asylum. As we mark 250 years, what do we see? We see a city of contradictions within a nation of contradictions. We see the wealthiest country in the history of the world— one where children go to sleep hungry while the world's first trillionaire hungers for more. We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who buy elections. We see masked agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans. We see a nation whose immense wealth has been built by those with calloused, dirt-streaked hands —those who toil on factory floors and chisel into stone —and we see a nation that has allowed so much of that wealth to be held instead in the soft hands of a precious few.
