@sanitythief I technically left my ex because he’d never trim the kids nails (dirty, broken if I was away). Not because nails were a big deal just that it was an example of how small a thing he’d refuse to do. He didn’t do any of the more significant things either. Happier, wealthier, saner.

When the wilful childish incompetence has to do with caregiving to helpless children or pets, that makes it so much worse. You’re willing to hurt these beings that rely on you for life to get out of a chore.
