DJ Hed shares an exclusive that a radio station reached out to have J. Cole on (presumably in 2024 around the battle) and was told that Cole was “taking the year off” He also said he thinks Cam is “trolling” but he & Gina both see the validity in needing the deal to be honored

DJ Hed & Gina Views debate Drake’s Iceman rollout Hed: “I thought this was executed interestingly, the only part that fell short to me was when the [streamer] found it…That sht corny to me just cuz it seemed staged….” Gina Views: “Everything is staged…All of the rollouts are staged…We’re in this age of streaming…so yeah they’re going to give it to a streamer.” Effective Immediately ❗️

Drake dissed DJ Mustard on “2 Hard For The Radio” off ICEMAN, and DJ Hed apparently deleted the disses for other DJs to play? Shoutout to Gina Views for calling it out. You don’t have to like Drake, but censoring the record because you’re biased is corny.

🚨 DJ Hed says one thing he can’t fully relate to on ICEMAN is Drake feeling betrayed by people choosing sides… DJ Hed says personally he wouldn’t take it that deeply if people around him did things with someone criticizing him but admits the average person would probably feel hurt, betrayed & take it personally the conversation ends with them saying that’s exactly why judging Drake’s reaction doesn’t really matter “His art comes from how HE felt.” (via Effective Immediately w/ Gina Views)

🚨 DJ Hed says some LA DJs felt conflicted playing Drake’s “Too Hard for the Radio” because of certain lines… so he made his own edited version removing the bars aimed at specific people so DJs could still spin the record DJ Hed says the edit is free & available for anyone that wants to play the song without those parts “We don’t wanna disrespect the homies.” (via Effective Immediately w/ Gina Views)

DJ Akademiks goes off on J. Cole after watching his latest run of interviews, explaining why he thinks Cole hates his own fanbase: "Yo, J. Cole fans, that n***a hates y'all... J. Cole hates his fans. I'ma tell you why. Every excuse J. Cole fans used to use to try to defend him, that he's not a b*tch ass n***a, he completely ripped to shreds. I couldn't believe it." "It's like a humiliation ritual. I honestly don't know what it is. Watching J. Cole do these interviews gave me second-hand embarrassment."

Gina Views and DJ Hed debate whether Wale is blackballed as platforms and award shows continue to snub him: “He ain’t won an award since ‘Bad’ in 2013…Wale dropped the best album of his career, something is going on [if he’s not being recognized]” Effective Immediately ❗️

🚨 DJ Hed says his biggest critique of ICEMAN isn’t Drake speaking on what happened… it’s Drake taking too much of a victim angle after actively inviting that energy DJ Hed argues Drake pushed the battle forward multiple times & escalated it… so to then act shocked by how far things went doesn’t fully land for him “You can’t invite that energy into your life… then be offended by the repercussions.” (via Effective Immediately w/ Gina Views)

Gina Views does not believe Drake & J. Cole’s rollout were organic: “All of the rollouts are staged. Drake’s team gave the release date to a streamer…. I don’t think J. Cole really let a random N***a hop in the car with him and listen to the album.”

🚨 Gina Views & DJ Hed question why Rick Ross publicly announced he was removing Drake vocals during the Verzuz say if there was really “no smoke” between them, Ross never had to make a big moment out of it they point out Ross still performed songs like “Dice Pineapples” & “Aston Martin Music” anyway Gina Views also reveals Rick Ross told them the only person who could get him & Drake cool again is French Montana via Effective Immediately Podcast
