This video gives you a really good idea of how much better MP4 could have looked, if had been built from the ground up for the Switch 2 with ray tracing.

@MetroidDatabase What’s going on with his armor? This game wasn’t meant to be enhanced like that, it makes it look glitchy. The game is gorgeous as is.

What about the latency? I know Dlss 5 is separate and applied to the captured gameplay, i just want to know if it feels smooth playing it and watching the capture feed

@MetroidDatabase I’d be curious to see how Metroid Dread and Prime Remastered look now.

actually since you're applying dlss to the video stream from the switch howbout you record gameplay, and then apply dlss to the recording, then you can have a full side by side comparison of the same sequence 🤔

The reflections on the armor of the federation soldiers @ 2:48 look so much better with #DLSS5!! Night and day difference. 100% game changer tech & this isn't even applied natively in game but through capture software. If it's applied natively it would probably look even better.

Is this just a filter or what? It sucks the saturation out of most scenes but also applies this wet look to most things so it kinda makes the lighting/reflections pop more? Some parts look fine but others look a bit funky.

How did you do that?
