I was at this game unfortunately. It was the return of the NFL after 9/11.

I watched this at a Sports bar. I was the only Lions fan there. People laughed at me.

I had forgot that Detmer technically threw 8 INTs but one was erased by penalty. I also forgot that this was a close game; criminal negligence by Marty not to put Batch back in. Guys don't throw 7 INTs in a game bcuz after the first 5 or 6 they get pulled. I don't miss those days

Crazy to think that 7 isn’t even a record - 10 guys, including DET QB Frankie Sinkwich in ‘43, have done did it. Toledo Maroons in ‘22 and Chiraq Cardinals in ‘50 had QBs toss 8. 😳
