“Because I think a lot of people are familiar with you know, pop stars have these alter egos on stage and then they're also a little bit potentially different behind the scenes. Can you talk about what the difference is between those two personas?” ROSÉ: I think, you know, like I started off as, my whole career started as Blackpink and I feel like it was so much fun creating this character on stage because I'm just from like Australia, like in my bedroom, but like it was so much fun creating this like pop star, like character. It was so much fun. And then I think creating my first solo album, it was my discover of like, you know, who am I? And like when I was naming the album, I really thought a lot about it. There was like options like, you know, number one girl. And then a lot of people did like, what about Rosie? And at first I was like, it seems a bit like narcissistic. I'm not sure. And then it slowly grew on me. And then, you know, just the idea of it being Rosie because Rosé has been such a big part of my life. And that's what we present ourselves as Blackpink, Blackpink Rosé. And I felt like this was very opposite. And so I noticed that it was closer to kind of introducing a different version of me, like because it combined all the stories I would talk about with my friends and family. And they call me Rosie at home. And of course, the online name that the company had made for me from at the beginning of Blackpink, I remember when it happened was like the day before they released my picture, profile picture, they were like, Rosé. And like the name got announced.

To go high, you have to low. And let me tell you, I’ve been through some real lows. I watch old videos like this and I think, wow, why did I stop taking care of myself like that. I gained 30 lbs, drank most days, ate crappy, didn’t sleep, and let stress live rent free in my body. How could “once a pro athlete” treat themselves like this and justify it? The answer is because I wanted to hate who I was before because it seemed like everyone else did. I thought the solution was to trash myself to help to forget about who I was and focus on helping others becoming great. If I was the farthest thing from me, then people would accept me more right? Well the answer was no. The same people still did the same things. Well, getting cancer and half my hand amputated sure showed me what’s important to me, and that’s my life. I have built an absolutely incredible world around me. I have the most amazing family, a thriving business, and the most warm and supportive community. All this time I felt like I have to suffer in order for others to accept me. But in reality, the people who are in my world do accept me. I lift them up and they lift me up. Sure it’s tough going out and crossing paths with people who have gone out of their way to misunderstand me. But I’ve been doing it for years and I am getting better at it. For an example, this past weekend at Big Sugar I spoke with, stood next to, even shook hands with people who tried to destroy me and my business. I felt nothing. It’s wild when you think about what I have survived to get to this point. But you know what, I own all of it. I also own the change I’ve made to become better from it. So why am I making this post? To be honest, I don’t know. I just felt like sharing this. It’s been over 8 years since I last raced and I feel it’s time for me to get out there again. Not to win the race, but to challenge myself to return to a physically and mentally super high version of myself. I’m well aware people will criticize me, but they will do that whether CINCH is winning or if I am. To be real, both will win. I also will share my path, struggles and successes, all transparently. 2024 let’s do this!

Caller: ...husband. We've been together for about seven years, got married last year, and about six months ago, I entered an affair with another man. Started out as something fun I know that's stupid but it turned into something a lot more emotional than I expected. And now, at this point, I just don't know what to do. I mean, I do know what to do, but I don't know what to do at the same time. My husband doesn't know what's going on. The other gentleman does know that I am married. I don't want to leave my husband, but I don't want to break things off with this other gentleman either John Delony: So let me, let me give you another side to this, okay? Number one: I don't think you love your husband. I think you love the idea of the security that seven-plus years of a quasi-stable relationship bring. I also think deep down you understand that you are with somebody of so little character that he doesn't mind blowing up another family so he can hook up with somebody. Let me ask you this: what was it about seven years with the guy that became your husband... what about that relationship? Caller: It's been difficult. We've had a lot of ups and downs. I suffer from mental illness, I'm a recovering drug addict. So he's been with me through a lot of stuff, and I felt like I owed my life to him for pulling me out of everything. I don't feel like we're compatible in a lot of ways because I like a lot of emotional touch, a lot of affirmation, and I don't feel like I get that. John Delony: Why did you marry him? Caller: I felt like I owed it to him, honestly, for everything that he went through with me. John Delony: I'm going to tell you, cheating on your husband's not right. Never is it okay. I'm going to tell you, I think you should go talk to your pastor or your counselor and sit down and say, "Here's what's happening.
