Do I Owe Forgiveness to Everyone?

How do we reconcile all of this with Mark 11:25-26? Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”] Mark 11:25-26 “Not everything that Jesus did are you commanded to do.” While we’re not commanded to literally go out into the wilderness and fast for 40 days and nights, we are to live as imitations of Christ, as noted in 1 John 2:6, Ephesians 5:1-2, Philippians 2:5, and many other verses. “Forgiveness is the restoration of a relationship.” That’s reconciliation, not forgiveness. “Jesus was only praying for the Roman soldiers, not the Jews.“ How do we reconcile this with Acts 3:13-17? And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also. Acts 3:17 “We are not commanded to forgive anyone and everyone all of the time.” Since Christ is only praying for the elect in John 17, how do we know someone is elect or not? If they haven’t become Christians yet, surely we’re not supposed to keep tabs on them so we can be there to forgive them when it happens.

All in Christ Jesus for all ages use all their faiths to ask Yahweh to curse to utter destruction forever all who create neurotransmitters any in Elise Oyinkromeineifa that she cant do her school work using pbz*pb39*pbs*pbj aaein 900g c efs in the name of Jesus Christ used 900ges

No need to credit me. Jk looking forward to listening to this one. 💪🏻

@rightresponsem genuine question: how do you square the Lord’s Prayer with this point of view? “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have sinned against us” It does not qualify that those who sinned against us have repented. Interested to hear your response. Thanks.

Luke 17:3-4

Some need to recite the Lord's Prayer more often & dwell upon the part Jesus emphasized. "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Yes. Except for CN’s of course. They’re fair game.

You are wrong.

Joel, you've been awakened as i have. Stay the course. You know the truth. I have people who think I've turned into a monster for speaking out against our greatest ally. As if I hate people. I don't get called hateful for speaking against the CCP, go figure.

Most everything posted on X by Right Response Ministries are not for the perfecting of the Saints, or for the work of the ministry as commanded in Ephesians 4. The majority of it seems aimed at unnecessary controversies and provoking discord to get attention and gain followers.

Your parents are the ones who should beg forgiveness for having spawned such a whiny white worthless weasel, a pathetic misogynist, a soulless fascist, and a crashing bore to boot. You're about as Christian as Pol Pot.

Good stuff

Wow, awesome discussion!

According to Jesus 70 × 7. Guess we've got to put that teeny tiny annoying verse, huh. That damn pesky Bible getting in the way of Christianity

Great video, totally agree.

If we refuse to forgive we put ourselves in the place of God, as though vengeance is our prerogative, not His. Secondly, unforgiveness says God’s wrath is insufficient.

I think you will continue to twist the words of the Bible to conform to your ego. I think you assert your will over Jesus's. I think if there is any conflict between your wishes and Jesus's, you will not concede.
