What’s crazy is the southern accent I’m familiar with is different than yours. But I’m from the south eastern USA. One of my favorite things about being alive is getting to hear all the beautiful voices and accents we have.

That's really cool! I only recently discovered where the term "hillbilly" comes from it's because they live in the rocky mountains. Did not realize that until I was passing through them one time and was like "wow, sure is a lot of-" (slams fist in palm) "-HILLBILLIES!"

That is interesting because I did figure your accent was more like the Tennessee/Alabama/Kentucky type region more than North Carolina. Accents *are* interesting cuz I’m Texan with no noticeable southern accent, I think.
