Do Invincible fans have such a low standard that basic movement in the final episode is worthy of pointing out? Just for comparison to show how mid the animation is this isn't even an action anime.

I like how the excuse people post in the replies is the budget. 1. We don't know the budget behind Invincible or most anime so that's speculative 2. Most insiders in the industry will admit animation quality is less about budget and more about staff

1) Dragon Maid is a high budget show from a prominent studio. 2) Labor costs for animation are vastly cheaper in Japan. 3) There's like 1 or 2 fights per season, the slice-of-life rom-com parts are far more economical to animate than any episode of Invincible.

The cutest frame

Fate stay night UBW was produced on a moderate budget. 1/5 the cost of Invincible

part of the problem is the show selling itself on celebrity voice actors and relying on that to carry it (and blowing a bunch of money on them)

Wild hair Kobayashi kinda cute

It's always a sad case when a studio specialized at moe does better action than the ones who's supposed to be experienced about it.

dragon maid mentioned

Invincible is animated by wypipo while anime is animated by Koreans or Indonesians. It's essentially like DEI hiring.

Invincible is okay but I hate the ugly ass western animation style
