I still think only the priest should be the one to touch the host. The Eucharist is the focal point of the Mass. We aren't so busy we can't wait a bit more to receive it on the tongue from one whose hands are consecrated.

No. The Eucharist is to be touched only by sanctified fingers. This is a sacrilege made by Vatican 2. I was a "Eucharistic minister" and felt the pull away from doing it. It was then I stopped going to NO masses and returned to the TLM. 🤨
